​SERVING CHATHAM, DURHAM, GRANVILLE, ORANGE and PERSON COUNTIES

 

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

​

Assists with housing and supportive services for low-income persons with HIV/AIDS and their families who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or are unstably housed. With a mission to increase housing stability, reduce risk of homelessness, and increase access to care and support.

Services intended to help participants gain housing stability may include:

​

  • Tenant-Base Rental Assistance

  • Utility Assistance

  • Housing Quality Standards Rental Inspections

  • Housing Case Management (in partnership with Durham Co. DSS)

  • Permanent Housing Placement (in partnership with Durham Co. DSS)

​

ELIGIBILITY​​

Specific client services are based on the individual needs of participants and the availability of funds. Services are offered in Chatham, Durham, Granville, Orange, and Person Counties. Program eligibility is based on applicant residing in those Counties with HIV/AIDS or family members with at least one person in the household with HIV/AIDS and whose income is 80% or less of area median income.
