BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - NO WALK-INS due to COVID19

​

Assists with housing relocation and stabilization services and short-and or medium-term rental support as necessary to help individuals or families living in shelters or in places not meant for human habitation move as quickly as possible into permanent housing and achieve stability in that housing. Services intended to help participants gain housing stability may include:

• Housing Stability Case Management

• Housing Search & Placement

• Rental Application Fee Assistance

• Security Deposit & Last Month's Rent Assistance

• Utility Deposit and Payment Assistance

• Landlord-Tenant Mediation

• Tenant Legal Services

• Moving Cost Assistance

• Credit Repair

Specific client services are based on the individual needs of participants and the availability of funds. Services are offered in Chatham County. Program eligibility is based on applicant residing in Chatham County. Documentation required includes, but is not limited to: Certification that the individual or family is experiencing homelessness (e.g. living in an emergency shelter, on the streets, or in an uninhabitable location without a home); additional guidelines will be provided at time of application.
